Education and Experience
I have more than 10 years of experience as a licensed psychotherapist, educator, supervisor, and scholar in premier academic medical settings. After my predoctoral internship and postdoctoral fellowship at Harvard Medical School / McLean Hospital, I launched my career there as a clinical team leader and predoctoral psychology internship supervisor. Next, I joined the faculty at Albert Einstein College of Medicine / Montefiore Medical Center as an Assistant Professor and Attending Psychologist. There, I founded and directed an adult Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) Program, trained and mentored predoctoral psychology interns, medical students, and psychiatry residents, and collaborated on research and dissemination projects. I was also Director of the CBT Curriculum for Psychiatry Residency Training at Albert Einstein College of Medicine / Montefiore Medical Center. My work has been published in academic journals and presented at national and international conferences. Currently, I am delighted to focus my expertise on my independent practice and in my role as Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychiatry at Albert Einstein College of Medicine.
